Should Dogs Eat Carrots?

The answer is yes! Carrots are great not only for humans but for dogs as well!

Giving your dog a carrot instead of a milk bone as a treat will significantly effect their health in a more positive way!

The best way to get your dog used to eating carrots is to introduce them early in life.
If your dog is not used to eating carrots try matching it with a yummier treat such as peanut butter and introduce in a positive patient manor.

Carrots are known for being very high in Vitamin A!!!
“Lack of vitamin A can cause poor vision, including night vision, and vision can be restored by adding it back into the diet” says Wikipedia.

Why else are carrots so good?
They are rich in manganese, dietary fiber, niacin, potassium, thiamin, vitamin A, vitamin B6, and vitamin C!

Veggies such as carrots and broccoli are great for dogs not only for their body's health but for their teeth's health as well! The chewing of veggies helps scrub off the tartar build up on your dog's teeth helping promote a healthy mouth which promotes a healthier overall life!

As you can see in the picture above my dog Bueller loves carrots! He eats them a couple times a day and there's no forcing involved!

Some other healthy snacks for your dog include, canned pumpkin, plain yogurt, apples, oatmeal, and (mentioned above) broccoli
