Pet Microchipping Information

Hey guys today I want to talk to you about the importance of microchipping your pet! It's estimated that one in three family pets will get lost sometime in their lifetime! Collars are easily damaged and lost but a microchip can make for a more permanent option!

It can be placed without the need of sedation! The needle is larger then a normal vaccination needle but doesn't bother dogs/cats much more.

The microchip is only the size of a grain of rice and is implanted in between the shoulder blades.

Veterinary offices and animal shelters have a scanner that can read your dog's number and can local your records to contact you.

HomeAgain, a popular microchip company, has reunited more than 1 million pets to their families!

Common Mistakes Pet Owners Make With Microchips:

It's important to make sure to update your microchip information if you ever move or change your phone number!

Also it's extremely important to REGISTER your microchip! Many dogs and cats are microchipped but the information is never set up!!!
